Edith L Stores

Mrs. Edith Woodson Lacy Stores of 647 Selene Street, Lynchburg, VA was called home to be with the Lord of Saturday June, 13, 2015 at Lynhburg General Hospital.  She was born on January 1, 1928 to John H. Woodson and Lillie Townes Woodsone.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sterling Stores.

Left to cherish loving memories are four daughters: Gloria Hendricks, Brenda Cunningham and Betty Kendrick (Samuel) of Lynchburg, Zelma Stevens (Sam) of Stafford, VA; two sons, Brad Lacy (Sophie) of Lynchburg and Steve Lacy (Priscilla) of Concord, VA.

She is survived by twelve grandchildren, ten great grandhildren, and five great-great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Thomas of New Jersey; two brothers; James and Delano Woodson of Madison Heights, VA.  

The family will receive friends at 647 Selene Street at the home of her daughter Brenda Cunningham.  Franklin-Hutcherson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
