Robert Payne Walker

Robert (Rob) Payne Walker, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Friday April 3, 2015, at Lynchburg General Hospital.  His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family. Left behind to mourn his loss are his mother and stepfather; Rosa and Mayo Spencer, Charlotte Courthouse, VA; Fiancé Juanita Revely of the residence; four daughters; Brittany Walker, Brandi Walker, Briana Walker and LaKendra Nowlin all of Lynchburg; one son, Robert R. Walker, III, Pamplin, VA.  Additionally, Eric and Travis Revely of Lynchburg whom he considered as his own; three sisters; Juanita Gonzales; Erlene Thompson (Boorhees), Trenton, NJ and Sondra Gamble, Charlotte Court House, VA; three brothers; Robert Frances Walker, Trenton, NJ, David Kent Walker (Ruth), Mayho and Troy Spencer both of Charlotte Court House, VA. 

Rob was preceded in death by his father, Robert (Bob) Walker, Sr.; and brothers Charles, David and Timothy Walker. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday April 11, at Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church located at 230 Rising Sun Circle, Monroe, VA., With Pastor Ronald Lovelace officiating.  Interment will follow at Rising Sun Garden.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday April 10, 2015, at Franklin-Hutcherson Funeral Home, 918 Fifth St., Lynchburg
