Sekoya Le'Shawn Hampton

Sekoya Le’Shawn Hampton, 29, departed this life peacefully on January 19 2023 at her residence.  Born on November 21, 1993, she is the daughter of Katrina Lynn Hampton of Lynchburg, VA and Edward Hampton of Harrisonburg, VA.   

Sekoya was educated in the Lynchburg City public schools.  Upon graduation entered the workforce and worked at various jobs, she was most recently employed as a dispatcher with Allied Cab.  Sekoya was also a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend.   

Sekoya is preceded in death by her grandparents, Joanne S. Thurman, and Vanessa Turpin, and also her great grandmother Roselyn B. Smith.  She leaves to cherish her precious memories three children; Quantaire Hampton, Quentrell Hampton, and Tevin Brimm, Jr.  all of Lynchburg, VA.  Also left are four sisters; Briana Vidal, Raequana Douglas, Jasmine Smith and Sa’Niya Lipford: Grandfather Moses Hampton; Aunts, Veronica Hampton, Victoria Richland, and Joyce Smith; Uncles; Michael Smith, James Smith Jr., and Hassan Newell; Godmother, Michelle Lipford, and a host of nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.  Sekoya will be surely missed by all.
